Hi, I’m Melody Crane!

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always had a book in my hand (or my backpack). I grew up reading fantasies written by genre titans such as Gail Carson Levine, Tamora Pierce, C.S. Lewis, and J.R.R. Tolkien, and watching classic movies such as The Princess Bride, Stardust, and Lord of the Rings. Now I live in the Midwest with one dog (who is adorable) and seven chickens (who are also cute), and spend my time writing stories where hope and love conquers all…even if the road to get there is a little bumpy sometimes.
